Library resources are available for use by the Rocky community and the Billings area community.  Resources from other libraries are available through interlibrary loan. Average turn around time is one week and loan period and fees are governed by the lending library.  Interlibrary loan is limited to the Rocky community.  Forms are available at the circulation desk or an electronic form is available here.  Interlibrary loans that are not picked up will be returned to the lending library.   Any overdue fees will be charged to the patron.

Electronic resources are governed by Rocky's Acceptable Use of Computer Information Systems Policy.  Student assignments are a top priority for computer usage.

Copyright Restrictions
The copyright law of the United State (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyright material.  Under certain condition specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction.  One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research."  If a user makes a request for, or later uses a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use", that user may be liable for copyright infringement.  This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order would involve violation of copyright law.
